Description:
Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are the largest sinlge work-related illness and injury problem in the United States. This course helps transit workers understand MSDs and their causes. It describes MSD risk factors in the work environment and steps employees can take to reduce their risk of injury. The course concludes with personal precautions that employees can take to improve their overall health and wellness such as proper sitting, standing, lifting, pulling and pushing techniques, stretches and exercises.
Delivery Options:
Direct Delivery: NTI will deliver this course directly to your employees. NTI provides the instructor free of charge. The requesting organization is responsible for providing a training location and audio/visual equipment. A minimum class size of twenty is required. Multiple sessions can be conducted over up to three consecutive days depending on the number employees to be trained.
