All-Hazards Awareness and Preparedness for Passenger Vessel Employees is designed to help passenger vessel employees develop the observation, communication, and response skills needed to address all-hazards incidents while ensuring their own safety and that of their customers. The objectives of the course are to describe the importance of taking an all-hazards approach to incidents and events, explain passenger vessel employees’ responsibilities and priorities during all-hazards incidents and events, distinguish between notice and no-notice incidents and events, and select appropriate response and reporting strategies for all-hazards incidents and events. Delivery Options: Hosted Train-theTrainer: This option is for organizations that plan on implementing the training for their employees using their own instructionial staff. Participants preview the course and discuss how they can use NTI’s materials to implement it at their organization. NTI provides the instructor and student materials free of charge. The requesting organization is responsible for providing a training location and audio/visual equipment. Each participant receives an Instructor Package that includes an Instructor Guide, Course Slides and Instructor Notes and a Participant Workbook in hard copy and electronic format. A minimum class size of twenty is required.
