Course Description:
This engaging, advanced-level course explores contemporary operational, financial, and policy challenges for providers of ADA paratransit service in today’s complex mobility ecosystem. Participants will analyze alternative strategies for meeting changing customer expectations, technology, and financial constraints while maintaining compliance with regulations. The course also examines best practices for delivering optimal service; connecting with other community organizations and services; and exploring the role of paratransit in the context of integrated mobility through partnerships with other providers. Designed for professionals seeking to deepen their knowledge, this course is offered in a workshop format that allows for examination of specific case studies, peer interaction, and opportunities to explore real-world issues that participants may be experiencing in delivering service to their own communities.
Prerequisite: Participants must have completed NTI’s Introduction to Paratransit Management and Operations to be eligible for this course.
