The course is primarily designed for employees who inspect, service, and maintain the nation’s vehicle transportation infrastructure. However, it can be easily adapted for the larger universe of employees.
Description:
System Security Awareness for Transportation Employees responds to a need for basic awareness training on security and terrorism. Front line transportation department employees and their immediate supervisors are positioned to be the "eyes and ears" of the community, and are very often the most effective means for preventing and responding to security related incidents. This training gives them the basic skill sets regarding where to look, what to look for, and what to report in order to effectively observe, report and react to suspicious activity and security incidents.
Delivery Options: NTI will provide the instructor free of charge. The requesting organization must provide the location and audio-visual equipment. It can be delivered directly to the target audience by NTI instructors or in a train-the-trainer format.
